WHY URUGUAY? WHY HERE?

Before launching our studio in Uruguay, I always knew I wanted to have a professional experience outside the country.

I had already had a first taste of it when I studied for a year in California, United States. I knew that these kinds of experiences not only foster creativity and enrich one’s personal life, but also open up spaces for dialogue with people from whom one learns a lot.

On that road Punta del Este appeared.

Before finalizing my departure from the country, I decided to spend some time in the eastern part of the country, specifically in La Barra . What I found was tremendous: everything I had planned to find abroad was here, within my own country.I began to meet people, places, and, above all, clients who strengthened everything I thought I had to look for abroad. That’s when I decided to stay in Uruguay and found the studio here, in Punta del Este. At first, it wasn’t so obvious, but Uruguay has it all: coast, countryside, sea, nature… and especially Punta del Este , with a diverse and proactive community. Here, I met people from all over: Argentinians, Germans, Swiss, Americans, Brazilians, and more. And I realized I didn’t need to leave to grow: the opportunities were here .

Punta del Este opened doors for us, and continues to open them. It allowed us to develop in an environment where people not only have an entrepreneurial mindset but also share a common philosophy: to build a place of balance between professional and personal lives, where nature, tranquility, and a sense of community are valued.

I share this story with you because it’s precisely what attracted me—and continues to make me fall in love—with Uruguay. Despite being born here, it wasn’t until I reconnected with this part of the country that the feeling of belonging became real. Today I can say that Uruguay is a country that strives, cares, respects, and above all, builds .

For me, Uruguay is just that: opportunity, security, calm, a focus on what truly matters… and above all, it’s home . It’s a place to raise a family, far from the conflicts that many societies face, but it’s also a country with endless opportunities and enormous growth potential in all areas.

Even statistically, despite its size, Uruguay is consistently among the best-positioned countries in Latin America in terms of stability, trajectory, and quality of life.

That’s the country we chose to grow in. That’s the country we decided to build.
